The Boston Brass, a perennial Malmgren Series favorite, returns to kick off this year's series. The unique blend of classical repertoire, jazz standards, and exciting arrangements has endeared audiences to this experienced quintet for more than 30 years. The group has made numerous recordings ranging from music of Chick Corea to Shostakovich, performed in 49 states and 30 countries, and has been featured on The CBS Early Show and National Public Radio's Performance Today, The Great American Brass Band Festival.

Note: This concert will take place at 3:00 pm so that the group can collaborate with the Honors Youth Wind Ensemble on their 5:00 pm concert in Setnor Auditorium.
